Barbara began her career in marketing research in 1972 at Lindsay Smithers-FCB advertising agency. In 1977 she joined Market Research Africa as a Research Executive.

After MRA, Rembrandt Tobacco Corporation became her third marketing research experience – gaining experience as a Market Research client. She set up their Market Research Department in Johannesburg.

In October 1981 she formed her own business focusing primarily on Management Surveys, Climate and Culture evaluations, Human Resource Management, Staff Surveys including Employee Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction surveys and Marketing Research.

Barbara is well respected in the business and marketing research world. Her experience is extensive and includes all spheres of attitude, communication, image and motivational projects. And, she has a good understanding of the politics within and behind business.

Her analytical and interpretative skills provide valuable insights into data and she's able to assess opportunities behind a problem and how these can be used to the benefit of the business. She gets the numbers to talk sense! She tells the stories behind the numbers.

Barbara loves her work and works with great enthusiasm, commitment, integrity, and professionalism. And, she has a tremendous sense of style and fun!
